Photoworx is a site created to allow me to share my passion for photography. Here you will find what I consider to be my best work with a camera to date; a collection which will be constantly evolving as I learn more about the art of photography. Photography is a journey, a reason for the journey and a record of the journey all at once.
Using This Site.
The photos on this site are sorted into collections. On entering the site you will be presented with a random image from the Spotlight collection and you will be browsing images from the Spotlight category when you use the previous/next links or the thumbnail carousel. You can change the current collection on the Index page, or by clicking on any of the collection names listed under an individual photo.To see a description of the current image simply point your mouse at it - an information box will appear in the bottom right hand corner containing image details. Clicking on an image will open a larger view from where you can navigate backwards and forwards by clicking on the left or right hand side of the photo.
An RSS feed is available keep you up to date on any new additions to the site - simply click on the
RSS 2.0 link at the bottom of any page to subscribe. Alteratively use
AddThis to subscribe using one of the popular web-based feed readers such as Netvibes.Portraits
Portrait sessions are carried out "on location". This is generally a local park or nature reserve.Baby portraits are carried out in your home so that the baby is comfortable and plenty of props are available.
Prices start from £50 for a 1 hour session which includes travel to your location within the Preston/Chorley area, basic post-processing (removal of dust, temporary blemishes, etc.) and a free download of all images resized for posting on Facebook and sharing with friends & family via email.
Prints are produced using a professional lab, who will give your photos individual attention, on Fuji Crystal Archive Professional paper. A wide range of print sizes, albums and other products are available.

I welcome enquiries into commercial usage of my images and will happily quote a competitive fee based on usage and circulation. While usage under the Creative Commons license is encouraged, the images on this site should not be used commercially without permission.
